As I reflect on my year serving as President of the Michigan Residential Real Estate Council, I am filled with deep gratitude and pride. This role has been one of the greatest honors of my career, not just because of the title, but because of the people and the purpose behind the work we do together. We provided education, networking opportunities and celebrated CRS week.

To my leadership team—thank you. Your commitment, professionalism, ideas, and willingness to step up made this year successful and meaningful. Leading alongside such dedicated, passionate REALTORS® reminded me every day why this organization matters. You showed up, leaned in, and led with heart, and I am forever grateful.

I am excited to congratulate and pass the baton to our 2026 President, Laurie Koelling. Laurie, your leadership, integrity, and vision make me confident that MIRRC is in wonderful hands. I can’t wait to see how you continue to move this organization forward.

A very special and heartfelt thank-you goes to Chris Shoemaker. Chris, your dedication to MIRRC over the years is appreciated. Congratulations on your well-earned retirement!
