We have had a great start to the raffle for Lions Club International Foundation.

Over $500 raised in 13 days.

As a reminder, we are collecting funds that will 100% be donated to Lions Club’s International Foundation.

Since we started this raffle, there have been two hurricanes, widespread flooding in the western part of the United States, and one earthquake overseas. At the same time, we have had our service events for vision, childhood cancer last month and so much more.  And we continue to help those in need around the world and helping to fight hunger, treat and cure diabetes, and inoculate children against very basic diseases throughout Asia and Africa.

Buying a raffle ticket that not only gives you a chance to win something amazing, but your dollars are going to a wonderful cause at a time that it is most needed .

The flyer is below, you can use Venmo, you can send a check, you can arrange for other payment methods, we really want to try to get to $1000 by the end of October and before our second advisory.

Prizes will be given in several fun costume categories.
Top Prize for Costume Best in Show

There will be vendors for pets, a pet photographer and raffles.

All donations and proceeds will go to pet charities.

We have an amazing update to the most recent raffle for the Bruins tickets!

Thanks to past district Governor Anthony, we are now including a voucher for one free night at the Hyatt downtown Crossing. These can be combined together or you can do them separately. 

So that is now two luxury box seats to a Bruins game and a stay for free one night at the Hyatt downtown Crossing. If you’ve already entered, these prizes apply to you as well, but who wants to enter next?

We sincerely wish we didn’t need to do anything to raise awareness and funds for those in need. Especially when they come back to back so quickly.

But two devastating earthquakes have happened again within hours of each other.

Our clubs in Colombia were helping Venezuela with their efforts and. Now they need our help.

So, a very generous donor has donated 2 luxury box seats for a Bruins game. The winner will be given 5 games to choose from. This includes food and drink during the game.

AND .. we are working to couple this with the night at a Boston hotel !

$25 each - 3 for $50 - 10 for $100 are the options

Venmo is in the flyer but as with previous raffles, checks and PayPal and Zelle are welcomed.

Let’s pray this is the last if these we need to do for a very long time.

Thank you all who have donated so far. Your generosity and kindness have not gone without notice.
We have started a little slow we can pick the pace up tonight and tomorrow.

The Celtics tickets are worth face value if $450 for the pair.

What a win win, you could be going to a game of your choice and helping some fellow neighbors in need.

Lions clubs, you can enter in the club name and if you win then YOU can raffle off these tickets for your own causes. That would be awesome !

Please spread the word, let’s get to $1000 donated by tomorrow afternoon.

We are once again, calling upon our friends and neighbors to help those in need.

The wildfires in Utah, parts of Idaho and particularly in Spokane, Washington, have left thousands homeless, depleted emergency funding in a number of municipalities, and tragically there is no end in sight .

 We are doing a raffle once again to benefit Lions Club‘s International Foundation where the money will be dedicated to this disaster relief.

The winner will be drawn on Sunday, August 16, and will win two loge seats to a Celtics home game , to be mutually agreed-upon, with the winner choosing three games and being guaranteed of winning tickets to one of them.

We have had an amazing response when we have done these fundraisers, and has resulted in raising thousands of dollars for those in need.

Tickets are 4 for $25 and 10 for $50

**We can accept payments by Venmo, which is on the flyer, Zelle, PayPal or arranging for payments by check or cash.

Our goal will be to raise $5000, let’s not only meet that goal but surpass it.
