At VFW Auxiliary National Headquarters, we have received a number of questions recently about VFW and VFW Auxiliary scholarships and contests. There is some confusion about which scholarships and contests "belong" to which organization, so we've created this quick, handy guide to help keep it all straight!

VFW Auxiliary scholarships for high school students include the Young American Patriotic Art Contest and 3-Dimensional Art Contest. Find more information about these on our website, here: https://vfwauxiliary.org/what-we-do/scholarships-2/

Our annual Day at the Lake with veterans from the Brockton VA was on Saturday and was filled with great food, beautiful weather, plenty of laughter, and the amazing people who make this event so special.

A heartfelt thank-you to our VFW Auxiliary 7272 members, Post members, and all the volunteers who gave their time and energy to make the day such a success. A very special thank-you to Nicole Auger Gassett for once again generously opening her home and providing the perfect setting for this meaningful, long-time, tradition.

We are also incredibly grateful to the Brockton VA for working with us to bring everyone together. Most importantly, thank you to the veterans who joined us. It is always an honor and a privilege to spend the day with you.

This event is one of the highlights of our year, and this year was incredible as always! We look forward to seeing you all again next year.
