Our slugfest funds go to helping families pay for extra curricular fees, and we are so thankful for all the love, support and fun we had yesterday to raise those funds.

Everyone did great and we are excited to see what next year brings!

The Bellevue Housing Agency will be hosting a FREE fair housing training on May 29th in Bellevue. This opportunity is being extended to landlords in our network to help us all continually understand and provide fair housing to tenants.

Our waitlist is currently closed for Housing Choice Voucher applications. The expected reopening of this main voucher program is 2028-2029. We will post any updates regarding waitlists on this website, our social media platforms, and in local newspaper ads.
There is an opportunity coming up to apply for a very specific program, the Project Based Voucher or PBV. This program is for a very limited group of units that have a voucher attached to them and the tenant would therefore have assistance while residing in the unit. For more information, please read the following public notice:

PUBLIC NOTICE - PROJECT BASED VOUCHER WAITING LIST OPENING
The Bellevue Housing Agency Serving Sarpy County (BHA) will be opening the PROJECT BASED VOUCER waiting list by ONLINE APPLICATION ONLY from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
This is not for the Housing Choice Voucher waiting list. Project Based Vouchers are property/site specific and can only be used for those units. Currently, those properties are Deer Creek Apartments in Bellevue (3 and 4 bedroom units), Founders Ridge Senior Apartments in Papillion (2 bedroom, senior units), and Housing Foundation for Sarpy County Scattered Site (2, 3, and 4 bedroom duplexes, townhomes, and single family units). Another family apartment complex and a senior community will be added in 2027.
Applications will be accepted from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday May 28, 2026 Pre-applications will be available online at www.sarpyhousingapplications.org . No Applications will be accepted after the deadline date and time.
Applications will be accepted only during the listed time. Applicants can use any device where Internet access is available and MUST have a valid email address to apply. At the time of their application, applicants must meet standards for eligibility. Information about eligibility including income limits is available on BHA’s website www.sarpyhousing.org. Applicants who are deemed eligible will be placed on the Project Based Voucher waiting list in accordance with the BHA’s Administrative Policies.
Applicants needing assistance in completing the online application or who do not have access to a computer may be assisted on a first come first serve basis at:

Assistance will be provided from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Thursday May 28, 2026 only.
IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO COME TO THE HOUSING AUTHORITY TO APPLY AS ALL APPLICATIONS ARE TO BE SUBMMITTED ONLINE. www.sarpyhousingapplications.org
In compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Bellevue Housing agency Serving Sarpy County will provide reasonable accommodation for persons with disabilities. If you are disabled and require a reasonable accommodation to apply, please contact BHA at 402.734.5448 for a Reasonable Accommodation Form. Forms are also available at www.sarpyhousing.org/waitlist. So excited!!

The Bellevue Food Pantry broke ground on a new building that will allow it to serve twice as many neighbors as demand for food assistance continues to rise in the community. Read more at the link in the comments.
