Bellevue Public Schools’ Summer Meals Program ☀️ kicks off on Monday, June 1st and will run through June 18th. The district is closed on Friday, June 19th.

Breakfast and Lunch will be available at no cost for any child ages 1 to 18 in the cafeteria of the following schools: Avery, Belleaire, Bertha Barber, Betz, Birchcrest, Central, Twin Ridge and Mission.

Based on qualifications through the state, only the schools listed are free meal sites. Our remaining elementary and high schools will have breakfast and lunch during the summer school session with the same process as during the school year.

**IMPORTANT UPDATE TO MONDAY OFFICE HOURS**
Due to current staffing limitations, we are reducing our in person hours and our offices will now be open Tuesday-Thursday from 8:30am-4:30pm. Staff will be working remotely on Mondays and Friday. This change is effective as of 5/14/2026 and is expected to remain in place throughout the summer.
Staff members will be working collectively to respond to emails and voicemails in the order there were received.
We are also moving towards a more appointment based system to better serve all clients equitably. If you would like to meet with a HFSC or BHA staff member for a one-on-one, please email [email protected].

The Bellevue Housing Agency will be hosting a FREE fair housing training on May 29th in Bellevue. This opportunity is being extended to landlords in our network to help us all continually understand and provide fair housing to tenants.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month a time to remind ourselves that taking care of our mental health is just as important as taking care of our physical health.

At the Bellevue Police Department, we see firsthand how life’s challenges can impact individuals, families, and our community. It’s okay to not be okay. What matters most is knowing you’re not alone and that help is always available.

Whether you’re checking in on a friend, reaching out for support, or simply taking a moment to breathe and reset, those small steps can make a big difference.

All five cities in Sarpy are hosting spring clean-up events for city residents this month and next.

Sarpy County is pleased to partner with the cities of Papillion and La Vista. The county provides a reduced fee as part of the program, allowing some residents to dispose of unwanted trash at no cost.

Dates and locations are determined by the cities. Do not bring your items directly to the Sarpy County Transfer Station.
