ππ§‘π SUMMER SEASON WRAP-UP | JR. OLYMPICS COMPLETE! ππ§‘π
Now that our summer season has officially wrapped up and Junior Olympics is officially IN THE BOOKS, I want to take a moment to celebrate some of the AMAZING highlights, accomplishments, PRs, podium finishes, close finishes, and unforgettable moments from our Dashers athletes! π§‘π
We had several athletes who came ONE PLACE away from making semifinals or Top 8 finals. While they may not have advanced, that does NOT take away from the incredible performances they gave us. Sometimes being that close is the reminder of just how much potential is there!
We are incredibly proud of EVERY SINGLE ATHLETE who stepped onto that track, field, or runway and represented Dashers! π§‘π

To every single Dashers athlete:
Whether you made a finalβ¦
Whether you made a semifinalβ¦
Whether you PRβdβ¦
Whether you came within ONE spotβ¦
Whether you made the podiumβ¦
Whether this was your first year competingβ¦
Whether you had a breakthroughβ¦
Or whether you simply stepped on the track and gave it EVERYTHING you hadβ¦
YOU REPRESENTED! π§‘π
Junior Olympics gave us experience, memories, lessons, confidence, motivation, and something to build from.
And that is what this journey is about.
We don't just celebrate the medals.
WE CELEBRATE THE GROWTH.
We celebrate the athlete who dropped their time.
We celebrate the athlete who competed in a new event.
We celebrate the athlete who fought through mistakes.
We celebrate the athlete who learned how to compete on a national stage.
And we celebrate the athlete who may not have gotten the result they wanted but REFUSED TO GIVE UP.
Because every race, every jump, every throw, every practice, every PR, every disappointment, and every victory is building something bigger.
π§‘π NEXT SEASON, WE'RE COMING BACK STRONGER! πͺπΎπ₯
We know where we stand.
We know what we need to work on.
We know what it feels like to compete at this level.
Now it's time to GET BACK TO WORK!
The next season is going to be ONE FOR THE BOOKS! ππ
Thank you to our athletes for giving it everything.
Thank you to our parents for trusting us with your children.
Thank you to every coach, volunteer, supporter, and everyone who helped make this season possible.
The work doesn't stop hereβ¦
THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING. π§‘π
