ArtsNET

ArtsNET With a vision of the arts for all, our mission is to provide artistic, cultural, and educational opportunities in our communities.

Founded in 1975 as the Trinity Arts Foundation, Arts Council Northeast evolved from the Trinity Arts Guild. Arts Council Northeast officially received its nonprofit status in 1978. Located in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, Arts Council Northeast serves 16 cities: Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Grapevine, Haltom City, Haslet, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Roanoke, Saginaw, S

outhlake, Trophy Club, Watauga, and Westlake. In addition, it serves the seven school districts: Birdville, Carroll, Eagle Mountain-Saginaw, Grapevine-Colleyville, Hurst-Euless-Bedford, Keller, and Northwest as well as private and home schools. For over 35 years, Arts Council Northeast has worked to become an integral partner with the cities, schools, and businesses, including state and national organizations, to raise awareness that art, culture, and entertainment are vital to the economic well-being of our communities. Arts Council Northeast is committed to developing and implementing ways to encourage arts and education to the residents of North Tarrant and Southern Denton Counties. Arts Council Northeast has been recognized by the Texas Commission on the Arts as the official arts council of North Tarrant County since 1997. Since that time, Arts Council Northeast has granted over $665,000, with a match totaling over 1.4 million dollars, for the arts in North Tarrant County. These grants support art programs for at-risk youth, school children; children who have lost loved ones, senior citizens, and emerging arts groups. For the past 37 years, Arts Council Northeast, in conjunction with the cities of North Tarrant and Southern Denton Counties, has been presenting visual and performing arts concerts free and open to the public featuring local, national, and international artists as well as new emerging artists. Since 1995, over 4622 students have attended Summer Arts College with 1238 scholarships. This unique opportunity for children ages 6-15 to be a part of an imaginative, fun week-long cultural experience held throughout North Tarrant County. Participation in the Summer Arts College opens up children's minds and worlds, offering them skills they need for a bright future.

What an amazing surprise. At my "new" H-E-B store ribbon cutting in Hurst Euless Bedford HEB Chamber of Commerce. ArtsNET was awarded a donation of $10,000 to help us keep helping others. We have so many opportunities to help, but funds are limited.

Art, in its many disciplines, can be used as a therapeutic tool to help us through difficult times. It has been proven over and over that changing your focus changes the outcome. I know this to be true from my own situation during a great time of grief.

THIS generous gift will allow us to serve new senior centers, NTX Special Needs Assistance Partners, summer camp kids and our local artists. Thank you, thank you THANK you!!

It's a lovely day here in the Metroplex. The sun is shining, and it should be about 76 today. What a great opportunity to get outdoors and work on an art project!! Sometimes I bring my stitching and sit outside to enjoy the fresh air, allowing my creative side to relax and rejuvenate. Have you tried that?

We offer 2 community programs that will bring the arts to you. I would love an opportunity to visit with you and put a plan together for your club, church, city, or center to have a creative outlet for your friends and team. Contact me at [email protected] and let's get artsy!!

Dear Partners,

As we close out 2025, I just wanted to drop a note of thanks for your continued
appreciation and support of Arts Council of Northeast Tarrant County. We are
deeply grateful for your support.

Without each of you, our mission to provide artistic, cultural and educational opportunities that
improve the quality of life in our communities wouldn’t be possible.

This past year was a difficult one for nonprofits as most of us know. Many of us
were not awarded much needed federal grant monies. We can’t change the past;
but we are standing strong in our commitment to raise awareness and funds so
that everyone can participate in the wonderful healing world of ART.

Updates:
Our Masterworks Concert Series is already scheduling bands for the 2026 year!!
We have even added other nonprofits to our list for concerts and look forward to adding more.
Art on Wheels brings joy wherever it goes!!
And of course, our instructors love being a part of our team.

Our Newest Program

Community Arts, allows us to raise funds and use them for all age groups and not just seniors or special needs.
This will bridge a much needed gap that we have worked hard to fill.

Art Heals
Research shows that art is therapeutic and enhances our natural healing ability.
When we are creative, our brain reacts to that stimuli, in a positive way.
We become calm and centered.
We have seen this happen first hand, especially with our summer program with the Watauga kids; it speaks volumes about the need to be intentionally creative.

Help us to Finish Strong!

As we finish the year, I’d like to ask you to help us finish strong by making a donation. If you have made one already, bless you!! If not, please consider a gift to continue our mission. Every little bit helps.

Let’s make sure everyone in our community has the opportunity to shine through the ARTS.

We are so very blessed by the love that is shown to us, like this, so that we can continue our mission to provide artistic, cultural and educational opportunities to improve the quality of life in our communities. We appreciate all of our partners. Let the art begin!!
