The project will provide housing for people experiencing homelessness while exploring an innovative approach to building new homes.

A new state law is opening the door for more tiny homes across New Hampshire, creating another option as communities look for ways to expand housing opportunities.

A law signed by Gov. Kelly Ayotte this summer authorizes tiny homes and yurts to be considered single-family homes or accessory dwelling units statewide.

New Hampshire Housing staff were happy to join NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire and project partners yesterday to celebrate progress on the Apartments at Pearl & Orange in Manchester!

This new development will transform the former Pearl Street parking lot into 126 new one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, 12 townhomes, and a 455-space parking garage.
