Chandler’s Angels Initiative We are a nation of gun violence survivors: 58 percent of American adults or someone they care for has personally experienced gun violence in their lifetimes.

Chandler’s Angels Initiative’s mission is to bring a heightened awareness to inner city violence and help to provide positive and healthy outlets and avenues for youth to utilize their time in positive and productive ways. This is an alarming and heartbreaking reality. Gun violence affects many of the communities that we work in. This is a cause that is near and dear to my heart as I am one of the

58% of Americans that is a gun violence victim-survivor. My son 22-year-old son was murdered on February 19th, 2020. Chandler's Angels Initiative is a charity that partners with organizations educating at-risk youth on gun violence and like-minded missions ensuring they have a solid theory of change. While also giving back to the community.

Saturday Basketball Shootaround is back!

Join us at Beech St School for our free, drop-in basketball program running Saturdays from December 6 to March 14. Sessions are split by grade level, and kids can come work on skills, get active, and have fun with friends!

All participants must sign up for the Saturday Basketball Membership below.

Signing up before attending is strongly encouraged, but we can also register your child on-site during a session.

Saturday was the 5th Annual Chandler’s Ball, marking the culmination of MyTurn’s summer Queen City Hoops 3on3 and annual Peacefest. This year was the biggest and best yet!

So many incredible organizations and community partners came together with one mission: to bring positive change and support our kiddos. 💙🏀🌟

We are deeply grateful for every hand, heart, and voice that made this celebration possible. The energy, love, talent and commitment to our youth were truly unmatched.
