LCA-DFW extends its deepest condolences to the White, Urey, and related families on the peaceful passing of Mother Kathryn Urey White-Dennis on May 24, 2026.

We join the family in mourning the loss of a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and relative whose life was a blessing to many. We thank God for her remarkable life and the nearly 96 wonderful years she shared with family, friends, and loved ones.

During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. May God continue to comfort and strengthen you all, and may Mother Kathryn’s soul rest in perfect peace.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Are you ready to represent your community, your culture, and your division with pride?

LCA DFW is seeking ONE exceptional young woman of Liberian descent from each of our 4 DFW metroplex divisions to compete for the ultimate title of Miss LCA DFW 2026 at the annual Independence Ball.

This is more than a crown — it is an opportunity to represent, lead, serve, inspire, and help support meaningful LCA community initiatives.

Eligibility:
Must be a young woman of Liberian descent living in the DFW metroplex, between the ages of 21–40, with a heart for community service, culture, and leadership.

Hello LCA-DFW Family & DFW Community Members!

We are excited to continue the LCA-DFW Monthly Fellowship at the LCA-DFW Community Center, which launched on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The center is located at 2503 Bedford Road, Bedford, Texas, and is open to the community for a Monthly Fellowship held every third Saturday.

We warmly invite you to join us this third Saturday of May — May 16, 2026 — from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM for a day of fun, fellowship, and community connection.
