Troop, parents and leaders,

It has been decided to cancel this weekends camp out at the Wolfhope’s. Ground satiated with water doesn’t mix well with our trailer and vehicles dropping off Scouts or staying.

We will choose another weekend later this summer for this camp out with the Wolfhope’s permission. Plus we don’t suck Scouts or leaders so close to Summer Camp!!!

Troop 4481, parents and leaders,

Schedule for Flag Raising at the Omni Bedford Springs on Memorial Day.

Need to meet at Springs at 7:45 to get assembled. The flag raising starts at 8AM. Starts with recorded bugle Church Call. Senior Scout introduces Troops and Welcomes everyone. Need a prayer to be done at this point. Color guards told to advance with flags. They fasten the flags. The flags are raised with recorded To the Colors. Senior Scout asks for the recitation of Pledge of Allegiance. Singer sings the National Anthem.

This starts off the speech. I have Sam and Thaddeus as readers so far. After the speech is read and crowd is thanked for coming. Recorded Taps will be played.

The Omni will serve refreshments and muffins to Scouts, leaders and families.

So basically same drill as usual. Troops can assign what Scouts will function the different aspects at the meeting at 7:45 before ceremony.

On Sunday December 12th at Hoss’s Steak and Seafood restaurant there is a fundraiser for your favorite Troop 4481 all day till 8PM !!!

Just present the coupon enclosed by showing your server your phone or print it out to present. This will raise money for the Troop. Hope to see everyone out at Hoss’s that day. This helps all your favorite Scouts with camping or all the other activities the Troop provides!!!

Troop 4481,parents and leaders,

Remember Wednesday April 26th at 6:30 PM is David Kravets Eagle Court of Honor. This is a potluck meal with the family supplying ham and drinks. Please bring a dish of your special cooking for all of the guests.

Remember we are celebrating David on this his special evening!!!!! This is David's night!!! Let us all show David how proud we are for him getting his Eagle.
