We connect passionate people through national service to preserve environments and strengthen communities. Stewards supports two AmeriCorps Teams: 1.

Stewards Individual Placement Program places and supports AmeriCorps Members and VISTAs across the country, fostering conservation service in support of communities and ecosystems. Stewards partners with land management agencies, nonprofits, and institutes of higher learning. Community Stewards, AmeriCorps*VISTAs serving in long-term antipoverty projects that build resilience, and 2. Environmental

Stewards, a group of AmeriCorps members serving in direct service projects with land management groups.

Are you ready to take the first step towards a rewarding career with the National Park Service? If so, the Community Engagement and Capacity Stewardships are AmeriCorps positions that will support park visitor services, public communications, and park specific needs such as resource stewardship, volunteer programs, or education programs.

The members will serve alongside experienced National Park Service employees to assist with park operations and will participate in professional development activities related to their duties.
