“As many in the community continue to grapple with the loss of Woodrow Wilson High School junior Dwayne Richardson, who died last May, his mother and others say they are using their pain to make positive strides in the community. On Monday, Dwayne’s mother Keyisha Richardson, along with others who are part of Wayne’s World, dropped off dozens of shoes at the Raleigh County Emergency Housing Center.”

The Wayne’s World Foundation is proud to announce that this year’s recipient of The Dwayne Richardson Jr. Memorial Scholarship is Adriana Y Law! ❤️

Adriana has been a dedicated member of the Foundation from the very beginning, and was a major help in planning our basketball tournament back in April. She plans to attend West Virginia State University to pursue a degree in sports medicine/athletic training. We are all so proud of her, and can’t wait to see what the future as in store for this talented young lady.

For the Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 2022, graduation yesterday was not the same without Dwayne. The Class of 2022 wanted to commemorate and honor him through placing a cap and gown, a Honors Chord, and flowers on his seat.

Congratulations to the Class of 2022, we hope you continue to remember and honor Dwayne is everything you do. ❤️

On Monday, May 9th from 3pm-9pm there will be a fundraiser to support the Dwayne Richardson Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund at The Buffalo Wild Wings in Mt. Hope! ❤️

- 10% to 15% of food sales will go to the Scholarship Fund.
- There will also be a donation box for cash that will go towards it as well.

We hope that there will be a big turnout for this event, and that everyone will come out and show their support and love for Dwayne and his family. If you or anyone you know is interested in supporting the scholarship, this is a great way to show support and enjoy delicious food! ❤️🌎
