Coosaw Futures started out negatively.

Coosaw Futures started out negatively, and I don't want anything to do with it. That’s a fair criticism. The initial impetus for the Coosaw Futures group was specific concern around mismanagement of the Crab Shack Pond repairs and the abrupt resignations of several ARB members. Those were narrow issues with deeper ramifications for exercise of inquiry and advocacy on behalf of neighbors and the community....

"Coosaw Futures started out negatively, and I don't want anything to do with it."Answer: The initial impetus for the Coosaw Futures group was specific concern around management of the Crabshack Pond repairs. That was a finite issue. The broader role of the group is a long term vision for the path leading to change of control when the POA is responsible for the community after the Declarant departs. We hope skeptical neighbors will keep an open mind about why this longer term, methodical focus is ultimately valuable for all who live here. After some conversation, I asked them to keep an open mind and to attend the open house. They agreed, saying they respected my opinion.

Our ponds have a purpose.

A stormwater management pond plays a crucial role in controlling stormwater by providing a designated space for water to accumulate. This setup enables sunlight to eliminate bacteria present in the water, facilitates the settling of sediment from runoff, and allows aquatic plants to absorb surplus nutrients. As a result, when it rains again, the water is purer and safer for reintroduction into our waterways.

Thank you for following the Coosaw Futures Page. A page is more like a website or our personal profiles, except for a business. You can leave comments, but posts would go on the Coosaw Futures Group. Confusing? Sorry, blame Mark Zuckerberg.

Anyway, we are recruiting moderators for the Coosaw Futures Group. You came here because you were curious and somewhat tech-savvy. Moderators can help answer questions, encourage dialog, monitor spam, or offensive comments. You need not have any experience; just a few minutes while you are scrolling anyway, and I’ll show you what to do.

So in a day or so, you may get an invitation to become a moderator on Coosaw Futures Group. I hope you’ll give it a try.
