In Ocean County, the need for homeless shelters and transitional housing is greater than ever. More people are being moved around like cattle rather than receiving the help and resources they desperately need. Too often, it seems that people are looking for ways to make the problem go away instead of finding real, lasting solutions.

Unfortunately, homelessness will always be among us. Our responsibility is to find solutions for those who need our help the most. We must focus on providing meaningful support, safe shelter, and transitional housing opportunities, especially in our own communities, right here in Ocean County, right now.

People experiencing homelessness are not the problem. They are our neighbors, and they deserve compassion, dignity, and real solutions.

We're on Capitol Hill today to tell Congress it's time to get serious about ending youth homelessness.

Leaders from Covenant House shelters across our federation are meeting with their representatives and senators to advocate for youth homelessness funding, speak up for victims of human trafficking, and demonstrate how our program model helps young people move on to stable, successful adult lives.

LUCI FROM Keychains 4 Kindness DOES NOT PLAY WHEN IT COMES TO OUR COMMUNITIES.

SHE HANDMADE KEYCHAINS IN 4 COLORS, INCLUDING “DIGNITY PURPLE” FOR OUR DIGNITY X KINDNESS COLLAB AND RAISED $100 FOR DIGNITY Dignity Suds & Duds

WE DON’T USUALLY SHARE THIS, BUT AFTER OUR ASBURY PARK EVENT OUR FUNDS WERE VERY LOW. WHAT SHE RAISED FOR US WENT STRAIGHT INTO OUR FREE LAUNDRY EVENT IN LAKEHURST, THE FOLLOWING WEEK.

WE’RE FOREVER GRATEFUL TO HAVE LUCI IN OUR CORNER. FOREVER PARTNERS IN COMMUNITY CARE🫧
