The HOA or Homeowner Association

An HOA or Homeowner Association is a legal entity created to manage and maintain the common areas of a community. Typically these "common areas" consist of things like pools, clubhouses, landscaping, parks, streets and roads. HOAs can consist of single family homes, condominiums, or town homes and are typically setup by the original developer of the community with a set of rules called "Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions" otherwise known as "CC&Rs". One of the primary functions of the HOA is enforce and ensure that these "CC&Rs" are adhered to by the individual homeowners. The guiding principals of these regulations are normally to help maintain property values and the quality of life within the community.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 5:45 p.m.

You are invited to attend a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Meadowlake Village Homeowners Association, Inc. that will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 5:45 p.m. The Board meeting will be held at the clubhouse room located at 7410 Breda Drive, Baytown, Texas, 77521.

AGENDA

1. 5:45 p.m. - Call Open Session to Order/Establish Quorum
2. Approval of Previous Board Meeting Minutes – October 5, 2026
3. Business
a. Appointment of a Member to Fill the Architectural Control Committee vacancy
4. Adjourn into Closed Executive Session – The Board will consider actions involving personnel, pending or threatened litigation, contract negotiations, enforcement actions, confidential communications with the Association’s attorney, matters involving the invasion of privacy of individual owners, or matters that are to remain confidential by request of the affected parties and agreement of the Board.
5. Reconvene Into Open Session – Decisions, if any, made in Executive Session will be summarized orally and an entry will be placed in the Board meeting minutes in general terms. The oral summary will include a general explanation of expenditures approved, if any.

Billing for July–December 2026 was mailed yesterday. Everyone should receive their bill sometime this week. Payments are due by September 30, 2026.
