The purpose of the State Association of Young Farmers of Texas is to provide educational programs designed to meet the needs of men and women with a vested inerest in agriculture.

At the 98th Annual Texas FFA Convention, we were honored to bestow The Blue and Gold Award to a deserving gentlemen. This award is reserved for and bestowed upon those adults who have render extraordinary service to the Texas FFA Association, Texas FFA Foundation and/or to the agricultural education community.

That’s a wrap!! We were honored to be a part of the 98th Annual Texas FFA Convention in Ft Worth this week. We met many impressive young people with bright futures ahead. We attended the Texas FFA Foundation Luncheon with the Texas Young Farmers Scholars followed by presentation of their scholarships during the 5th General Session. Congrats to Cole Mims - Teague FFA - Dr. Billy Harrell Memorial Scholarship, Blake Phillips - Fairfield FFA - Sharon Beene Memorial Scholarship, and Haylee Jones - Grapeland FFA - Texas FFA Foundation Scholarship sponsored by Texas Young Farmers.
