Two of our boys - Gerald and Daniel - are sitting their Form Four exams during the next two weeks, and we couldn't be prouder. 💙
In Tanzania, the Form Four exam is the national test every student takes at the end of four years of secondary school.
Think of it as finals, the SAT, and a high school diploma rolled into one. Their results decide what comes next: moving on to two years of advanced study and a path to university, or into vocational training and college programs.
For kids who started life in poverty, simply reaching this exam is a milestone many never get to. Gerald and Daniel have worked for years to be in that exam room, with the support of their house mothers, their teachers, and every one of you who believed in them.
Whatever the results, they've already shown us what's possible. Good luck, boys. You've got this, and your whole HBH family is cheering you on from Dar es Salaam to the U.S. 🇹🇿🇺🇸
