CELEBRATING UNICO AWARD RECIPIENTS
Bayonne High School proudly recognizes two exceptional students who have earned prestigious UNICO awards, honoring their dedication, skill, and commitment to their respective trades.
Daniel Rouxel - Jeffrey T. Farley UNICO Award (Welding/Fabrication)
Daniel Rouxel's journey through Bayonne High School's Vocational Program reflects both perseverance and purpose. Beginning as a freshman in the shop rotation, Daniel quickly discovered his passion and ultimately selected Welding/Fabrication as his career pathway. Over the course of four years, he has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, technical ability, and a commitment to excellence in his craft.
His Welding/Fabrication teacher, Mr. Tim Clarke, praised Daniel's growth and dedication, noting that he "has developed into a highly skilled and dependable student whose attention to detail and pride in his work truly set him apart." Daniel's ability to apply both classroom knowledge and hands-on skills has made him a standout in the program.
In addition to his academic and vocational achievements, Daniel has enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, exemplifying his commitment to service and discipline. He plans to continue his education at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), where he will further develop his skills and pursue his career goals.
Jack Kelly - Joseph P. Tagliareni UNICO Award (Plumbing)
Jack Kelly has earned recognition as the recipient of the Joseph P. Tagliareni UNICO Award for Plumbing from Mr. Smith, a testament for his outstanding character and dedication to his trade. Jack is widely regarded for his reliability, diligence, and tenacity-qualities that have defined his success throughout his time in the program.
Whether tackling complex projects supporting his peers, Jack consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and a determination to see every task through to completion. His commitment to excellence and his positive attitude has made him a respected member of the vocational community.
Bayonne High School congratulates both Daniel and Jack on their well-deserved honors. Their achievements highlight the strength of our vocational programs and the bright futures that await our students as they pursue their chosen career paths.
