One of our own has had another unexpected stay in the ICU at the Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, and their sweet little girl is fighting a battle no one should ever have to.
During their hard stay, because of our amazing sponsors and donors, they were able to enjoy a hot meal at the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest inside the hospital.
Thank you doesn’t even seem like enough to say anymore, but from the bottoms of all our hearts, THANK YOU for helping us provide meals to over 70+ families at just ONE location this week 💜

Listen to this: FORE The Children Golf Fundraiser, a community-based fundraiser from Bayfield, WI, used some of the proceeds from their 2025 event to sponsor one meal a month at each of our five locations for a year, totaling 60 SPONSORED MEALS!! 🥳🍝

Families tell us all the time that they appreciate "free meals" more than any other RMH program or service - and when the incredible Fore the Children folks heard that, they stepped up BIG TIME, covering the cost of one dinner at all five locations every month. 💞

Last Saturday night, comfort food was on the menu at RMH-Oak Street, with families grateful for a warm plate of baked pasta, garlic bread, beans, and fruit salad. Yum! 🙂

If the way to someone's heart is through the stomach, the Fore the Children crew can rest assured that they are beloved by all the families with sick kids currently staying at - or grabbing a meal at - any of our sites. We are so grateful for this compassionate show of love and support.

As you all know, because of your kindness, we were able to donate $25,000 to the Ronald McDonald House this year.

Here is an update on what they have utilized the money for so far:

✨ $2,500 sponsored Room 4 at the Northland House for an entire year — giving families a comforting, stable place to stay.

✨ $500 per meal provided monthly meals across five RMH locations (St. Paul, Minneapolis, Oak Street, Duluth, and Gillette) for a full year — warm meals that mean one less worry for parents caring for critically ill children.

✨ An additional $2,700 covered 10 nights of free lodging for a family in need — ensuring they could remain close to their child without financial stress.

Because of you, families can stay together, heal together, and keep hope close.
