What if joy is part of the way we find our way to stillness?

For Joy to Stillness Meditation, Robyn Vie-Carpenter-Brisco invites us to laugh, move, breathe, and release before gradually easing into a place of calm.

This is a meditation experience rooted in joy—one that gives you permission to loosen up, enjoy the moment, and arrive at stillness in your own way.

✨ Come ready to laugh. Come ready to breathe. Come as you are.

Who walks with you on your spiritual path? 🌿

For Danielle Marie, that question brings her back to her mother.

Danielle’s mother passed away in 2018, but her presence continues to ground, guide, and shape Danielle’s journey. In this video, Danielle shares what that connection means to her—and invites us to consider the ways our own ancestors continue to live within us.

We inherit so much more than names and family stories. We carry wisdom, resilience, traditions, wounds, patterns, and ways of seeing the world.

What deserves to be honored?
What are you ready to understand differently?
What might be yours to release?
And what kind of ancestor do you hope to become?

This fall, Danielle will lead Rooted in Reverence: A Seven-Week Intensive Journey of Ancestral Healing, Wisdom & Renewal at The Red Shoes.

🌿 Attend individual sessions or join us for the full journey.

Watch Danielle’s story, then consider: How do your ancestors inspire the path you walk?

Do you work find yourself carrying grief, worry, or uncertainty about what you’re witnessing in our natural world?

Climate anxiety and ecological grief affects all of us.

Rooted in Hope: Navigating Climate Anxiety & Ecological Grief in Our Changing World offers a space to better understand these experiences and explore ways of remaining connected, grounded, and hopeful without denying the realities we face.

Through reflection, experiential practices, time in nature, and the framework of Joanna Macy's The Work That Reconnects, we’ll explore ecological grief, climate anxiety, solastalgia, our relationship with the living world, and how acknowledging our pain can reconnect us with meaning, community, resilience, and our capacity to act.

This workshop offers continuing education for counselors and social workers, but you do not need to be a mental health professional to attend. If your work—or simply your life—brings you into relationship with the natural world, you are welcome.

Because sometimes we grieve because we care. And our care can also be a source of connection, courage, and hope.

September marks the beginning of a new season at The Red Shoes, and this fall we’re exploring the theme Finding Your Spiritual Path.

Whether your path leads you toward creativity, contemplation, community, healing, or simply a little more space to listen within, there’s a place for you here.

There is no single way to walk a spiritual path. Sometimes it begins with a question. Sometimes with a practice. Sometimes with sitting in a circle with people you’ve never met before.

Come find what speaks to you this September at The Red Shoes. ❤️

This week, we invite you to stay curious, try something new, and make space for the people, practices, and experiences that help you feel more connected to yourself and the world around you.
