The countdown is on, and the rhythm is building! 🥁🥫 The very first Canstruction competition is officially heading our way! Teams of local designers will soon be brainstorming for our inaugural theme, "Harmony Against Hunger."
They will transform ordinary tin cans into massive musical sculptures to fight local food insecurity.

Welcome to Tri-Cities Canstruction!
A Large-Scale Design Competition Using Canned Food to Fight Hunger
This is a unique collaboration between the Batavia, Geneva and St. Charles Chambers of Commerce and we are excited to bring this one-of-a-kind event to the Tri-Cities and beyond.

Our 2027 theme is Harmony for Hunger and it will combine creativity, engineering, teamwork and compassion - a friendly build competition, an open to the public exhibit at Waubonsee Community College and judging, culminating with the donation of 25,000- 30,000 cans of food to area food pantries.

Hollywood Casino has committed as the exclusive Presenting Sponsor for this inaugural event.
