Congratulations to the Bastrop Evening Lions Club’s Vision Screening Team and to Half Helen! Thank you to Nurse Coleman and Bastrop ISD for this special recognition!

The Bastrop Evening Lions had approximately 720 volunteer hours at BISD this past year with almost 5,000 vision screenings completed! We begin again in August and continue through November. If you would like to join us, let us know!

Half Helen provided 140 students (identified through vision screening) with eye examinations and glasses at no charge! We appreciate the work that Half Helen does for BISD students!
