Dear Friends, Volunteers, and Partners,

On behalf of Friends of Humanity (FOH), we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this year’s Qurbani initiative. We are profoundly thankful for the tireless dedication of the Humanity in Distress (HID) volunteers, the unwavering support of our local school staff, and the generosity of the donors who chose to perform their sacrifice through FOH.Because of your collective compassion, we successfully sacrificed 60 goats and 38 cows this year.This vital meat was distributed directly to camp dwellers residing in Saidpur, Rangpur, and Dhaka. For many families in these camps, this distribution provided a rare and essential source of nutrition, bringing dignity, comfort, and joy during this sacred time. Your hard work on the ground and your financial sacrifices bridged the gap between hope and reality for thousands of people in need.Thank you for being the hands and hearts that serve humanity. We look forward to continuing this vital mission together.

As we enter the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah, let’s turn our hearts to Allah with sincerity, gratitude, and devotion. It’s time to maximize every moment.

Let us increase in:

🤲 Dua – Especially on the Day of Arafah.
📿 Dhikr – Keeping our tongues moist with Tahmeed, Tahlil, and Takbeer.
📖 Quran – Dedicating time daily to His words.
🤍 Charity & Fasting – Purifying our wealth and souls.

May Allah accept our good deeds, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us a close connection to Him. Ameen. 🕋✨

🌸 Mother's Day in the Camps 🌸

Today the world celebrates Mother's Day — a day of flowers, gifts, and joy. But here in the stranded camps of Bangladesh, there are no flowers, no gifts, and very little joy. Yet, we celebrate still.

We celebrate the mothers who rise with the sun to fetch water, cook what little they have, comfort crying children, and carry hope on tired shoulders.
We honor the ones who’ve lost everything, but never let their children feel it.
Mothers who sleep last and eat least — just so their families can live another day.

To all the mothers in our camp and beyond — your strength is our survival. Your love is our light. Your story matters.

Even in struggle, you are the reason we believe in a better tomorrow.
