Why was Parker out of uniform? Well, we didn't want it to get dirty.

I was finally able to talk the boys into doing a closing firebowl skit. It was by far the best of the night and kudos to Parker for really playing it up.

Most have completed their merit badges. Sorry I didn't get around to taking a lot of activity pictures today. I was to busy signing off requirements in BSA handbooks and doing Scoutmaster conferences.🙂

Pathfinders had their own flag ceremony, participated in a flag retirement, and had a graduation ceremony.

Our Senior Patrol Leader was proud to accept the Baden Powell Award for his and the troops hard work at keeping the campsite clean, attending SPL meetings, and performing the flag ceremony.

I apologize for Parker being out of uniform for the acceptance but with the next post you'll understand why.

Day 5 at Owasippe. Finally got all the boys by the lake for a picture.

Many of them have already completed some of their merit badges. Pathfinders have finished and will graduate tomorrow.

Kevin organized the scouts for a great fireside program which they all participated in. Some of the skits were hilarious.

The boys have been great so far. It's nice to see the older scouts helping the younger scouts feel welcome.

We had the Owasippe County Fair this evening so there was a lot to do.

Pathfinders did excellent on their 5 mile hike today even though there are some sore feet.
