A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the My Refuge fundraiser sale this weekend! ❤️

I want to thank everyone who donated items, everyone who came out and donated, and everyone who purchased items. Your support means so much to us!

What we do is about so much more than raising funds. It’s about building relationships with our community and the people who walk through our doors. We’ve made new friends, gained new supporters, and had some wonderful opportunities to help others along the way.

After the sale, we always try to give things away to members of our community, just as we’ve done many times before. Today, a couple came in who had recently moved here. They had been living in a camper and had just gotten a house, but they didn’t have much to furnish it. We were able to provide them with many of the things they needed, and they were so excited!

Another lady came in who remembered something that happened years ago in our community involving some children. I had been able to help them and be there for them at the time, and today she took the time to thank me. Moments like that remind me how important it is to be there for one another.

We also had a twin bassinet that had been donated to us. I had been holding onto it and praying that the right person would come along who needed it. Well, today that person came through our doors! God is good! 🙏

This is what My Refuge is all about. COMMUNITY. Helping one another. Building relationships. Being there for people when they need us.

I appreciate every single person who makes My Refuge and the things we do possible. Whether you donate, volunteer, shop, give, or simply spread the word, you are making a difference in people’s lives.

We’ve had several generous donations come in, and instead of putting everything into storage, we’ve decided to set up for another **sale!! **
