BABY WIPE RECALL OVER RISK OF POTENTIALLY LIFE-THREATENING BACTERIA: Target is recalling certain Up & Up baby wipes after FDA testing found potential contamination with bacteria that can cause serious infections, particularly in newborns, infants, young children, and people with weakened immune systems.

The recall includes:
• Up & Up Fragrance Free Baby Wipes
• Up & Up Fresh Cucumber Scented Baby Wipes

The wipes were sold nationwide in Target stores and online. The recall was issued after customer complaints about product discoloration led to testing.

The testing identified the presence of Burkholderia cepacia complex and Burkholderia gladioli in product samples.

The FDA says for those who are healthy, using the product on skin with minor lesions will more likely result in local infections. But for newborns, infants, young children and the immunocompromised, the infection is more likely to spread into the bloodstream, potentially leading to life-threatening sepsis or pneumonia.

If you have these wipes at home, Target says to stop using them immediately and return them to any store for a full refund.

Agape is DEEP cleaning this week June 1-5, 2026 we will reopen our regular hours on Monday June 8th at 11am. You can take home food to prepare from City Compassion, Salvation Army, Concern or Mary Martha's. Have a great week!!

Agape Mission will be closed Thursday April 9,2026 so every one of our Agape staff, board and volunteers may attend our beloved board member, Rori Roark’s celebration of life at Spirit Church 11am. Rori will be greatly missed, but we will see each other again one day soon! I hope you knew how much we loved and appreciated you!!💕
