Shout out to Gap Medical Clinic for continuing to provide FREE physicals for our youth runners! Our program is free for our kids from shoes, to race registration, water, snacks, shirts and hoodies. It is a blessing to be able to offer physicals as well! 💜 💛

Huge shout out to for kids for providing new running shoes for our youth this season. We couldn’t provide the services for our kids without help from organizations like them. A special thanks to Allyson Meyer, Mandy Parker and Braedy “Miss Owasso” Wardrope for fitting our kids last night.

Just a reminder, RTS is meeting today at 4 & 6 pm at KLIFE. Doors will be unlocked at 3 pm. Your kid can catch any bus from Central and Madison schools to ride to the high school and walk to KLIFE. If your child is being dropped off for the 4 o'clock group have them there by 3:45 pm and for 6 o'clock runners, be at KLIFE at 5:45 pm. There will be packets available for pick up and you can drop completed packets off as well.

Parents, we are canceling Run the Streets on Tuesday. We’ll have RTS on Thursday at the KLife building, make sure your youth is ready to run and dress appropriately. We’ll have our running hours at 4 PM and 6 PM. if your youth is running at 4 all buses from Madison and Central go to the high school then your youth can walk over to the KLife building. We’ll be there at 3 PM to open the building so if your youth doesn’t go to Bartlesville schools please have them at the KLife building NLT 3:45 if they are running at 4. If your youth plans on running during the 6 o’clock hour please have them there NLT 5:45. This will allow us to check in all youth prior to starting announcements.
We’ll have a parent meeting on Saturday morning at 8 AM, a parent or guardian must be there to for the meeting. If you have a packet that hasn’t been submitted digitally, please print off the packet and have your youth bring it Thursday or you can bring it on Saturday. There will be packets available on Thursday if you want to pick up one when you pick your youth.

Season 34 kickoff is CANCELLED for tomorrow due to the projected snow accumulations and possibility of double digit negative wind chills. We’ll send out a post on Sunday regarding running on Tuesday and Thursday this week. We will have a parent meeting next Saturday January 31st at 8 AM.

Season 34 kickoff on Saturday will go on as planned. We will meet at the Klife building starting at 8 AM. The only way we will cancel is because of ice accumulation, as of right now the Bartlesville area is only supposed to see snow. Kids and mentors need to be prepared to run their first mile of the season. The RTS leadership will make a determination about running that morning, but we will cover the season agenda and parent meeting.
If we have to cancel, we will post it on all 3 pages to include the main public page and the Remind App NLT 7 AM Saturday morning.

Kickoff for season 34 is this Saturday 1/24 at the KLife building at 8am. 305 E. 18th Street, Bartlesville. If you have not already submitted your packet we will have packets available. Mentors please wear your purple shirts. If you do not have one yet see me and I will get you one. Looking forward to the start of a great season. See you all soon.

Parents and mentors, please go to runthestreets.org and request a packet so we can get our roster done for the upcoming season. We have a new coordinator and want to make sure she has a good start to the season. Season 34 starts on January 24th.

There will be 2 mentor runs before the season 34 kickoff on January 24th. The first one will the 10th and the second will be the 17th. Both runs will start at 8 AM at the high school entrance of pathfinder near the agriculture building. If you are interested in joining RTS or know someone who is interested in becoming a mentor, please let them know.
