HOPE’S IN is dedicated to impacting and empowering the Guatemala City garbage dump communities and developing the next generation of humanitarian leaders. Our main fundraiser, Hope's in Style, is an annual student led charity fashion show. This fashion show features local high school students as stylists and models. This event is fun, interactive, and beautifully displays the hope for the poor in Guatemala City.

You never know where one trip will lead. 🇬🇹

This photo captures a moment from one of our past teams in Guatemala but what we remember most isn’t just the trip. It’s what happened afterward.

For many of our volunteers and students, a first experience serving in Guatemala became the beginning of something much bigger: a deeper understanding of community, a commitment to service, and a desire to keep making a difference.

That's our mission at HOPE'S IN, to empower families in Guatemala and help develop the next generation of humanitarian leaders.

Kicking off a new season of HIYA with some fun in the sun!

Our HOPE’S IN Young Adult Interns (HIYA) recently got together for a team bonding day at the local pool. The interns took time to connect, build relationships, and strengthen the team behind the work. 💙

We’re so excited to see what this next season holds for this incredible group of young leaders! From growing together to serving others, HIYA is all about empowering the next generation of humanitarian leaders. 🌎❤️

Meet Caroline Fetzner, this year’s student leader of the HOPE’S IN Club at Prairie Ridge High School!

Caroline has been part of the HOPE’S IN family and has experienced firsthand the impact that service can have—not only on the communities we serve, but on the students who step up to lead.

This year, she’s excited to bring that passion back to her school and help her fellow students discover what it means to lead, serve, and create hope.
