In November, we enjoyed our monthly Hand and Foot game together, before the Thanksgiving snow fell. As always, it was a great time together to play cards with friends.

Every month we meet to play Hand and Foot, Euchre, Bunco, Mahjong, Bridge, and a general game day. We also have a group that get together for Bowling. Definitely always great to have friends to play games and enjoy each other’s company!

To celebrate Oktoberfest, our Almost Gourmet host served all sorts of fun traditional German delicacies! It was a delicious and lovely event, with friends.

We're eagerly looking forward to our next Almost Gourmet event upcoming for December! It is time for the yearly Christmas cookie swap and afternoon game day. It's a fun way to end the year with Barrington Newcomers & Neighbors!

We had a lovely walk through Volo Bog, with an eco-specialist who taught us all about the amazing wetland ecosystem. It was a fantastic morning surrounded by incredible friends!

In February we went out to eat at Tsukasa of Tokyo Kildeer for Ladies Night Out. As you can see, we had a delightful time, while the chef entertained us!

At the end of March, we still have our Out to Lunch Bunch taking place at one of the restaurants here at Wild Onion. 🧅 You’re welcome to join us for two public events, before becoming a member, so this would be a great way to get to know us!

In November Barrington Newcomers & Neighbors attended the Art Night out at Barrington's White House. It was a lovely evening looking at art and beginning our holiday shopping!

The Creative Crew

(Formally known as the Crafting Circle)

Come join us March 16th at 9:30 – 11:30AM for a fun St. Patrick’s Day craft! We are designing vases with St. Patrick in mind OR however you wish to! There will be paint, decoupage, stickers, stamps, etc. All you need to bring is yourself, your creativity, and a vase/jar. We recommend using something that you can easily find at home that is glass (sauce jar, mason jar, vase – that needs revamping).

We meet every third Wednesday of the month in the mornings 9:30-11:30AM. The location may vary each month depending on what craft/art we are working on. If you are interested in joining March 16th, please RSVP HERE . If you cannot make it March 16th, but you are interested in hearing/joining future events, please let us know – HERE.
