SNEAK PEEK ALERT!🪻💜 A glimpse into the gorgeous gardens we have lined up for our upcoming 5th Annual Garden Tour on Wednesday, June 10th. Following the garden tour, a luncheon will be held at the Rockville Links Club where Art Flowers will hold floral demonstrations and a make your own bouquet fundraiser! We are still smiling from the incredible Creative Confidence Night hosted by the wonderful women of the Junior League of Long Island for our guests at Bethany House! 🤍

It was a beautiful evening dedicated entirely to health, wellness, and uplifting one another. From meaningful, creative activities that sparked joy to a delicious dinner shared in great company, the atmosphere was filled with warmth, laughter, and empowerment.

As if the night wasn’t special enough, each of our guests was treated to a beautiful wellness bag packed with self-care essentials—like soothing lotions, face masks, and a Target gift card.

Thank you for taking the time to so thoughtfully plan this special night. Your unwavering commitment to making a tangible, heartfelt difference in the lives of the women and children at Bethany House is a gift we treasure.

At Bethany House, evenings are some of the most important—and busiest—times of day. As mothers return from work, children finish homework, and our guests gather for dinner, an extra set of caring hands can make all the difference.

Our Dinner With Purpose volunteer program invites volunteers to step into this meaningful window of time and directly support women and children as they work toward stability and self-sufficiency.

When
4:00–7:00 PM, Weekdays

Who Can Volunteer: Ideally volunteers who can provide regular availability
Individuals
Small groups
No special skills are required—just compassion, reliability, and a willingness to help!
Volunteers must complete Bethany House clearances and complete orientation

What Volunteers Do
Volunteers serve alongside Bethany House staff to help create a warm, welcoming environment by:
Assisting with meal preparation and serving dinner
Helping with light kitchen clean-up and organization
Offering support to mothers as they care for their children
Playing with children or helping with simple activities
Providing a calm, caring presence during a busy part of the day

Why It Matters
For families overcoming homelessness, evenings can be overwhelming. By helping with daily tasks, volunteers:
Create a sense of community and normalcy
Directly support Bethany House’s mission to empower women to move from homelessness to self-sufficiency Provide comfort, stability and hope to families who need it most Just three hours can provide comfort, stability, and hope to families who need it most.

We are beyond thrilled to officially welcome Jason Drucker to the Bethany House family!

Jason joins us with a heart for service and a vision for making a real impact in our community. Whether he’s jumping into new projects or connecting with the individuals we serve, his energy is exactly what we need as we continue our mission of providing hope and housing.

Jason Drucker is an accomplished CPA and business leader with more than 15 years of experience advising businesses on financial oversight, tax strategy, and compliance. Recently he was promoted to Head of Private Equity Tax at Aprio, where he leads a team serving middle-market and private equity-backed companies nationwide. Recognized for building trusted relationships with executives, guiding governance and financial strategy, and mentoring high-performing teams. Jason is committed to applying his financial expertise and leadership skills to strengthen non profit organizations that provide housing, family stability, and community support.
