Bumblebees! Interested in learning a little more about the bumblebees in your garden? Join the group on Thursday, June 18th at 6:30 for a short presentation on them at the Baldwin Town Hall. Business meeting to follow and you are welcome to stay for that if you wish.

Planting with the Jr. Hawks! Always a fun activity. The kids choose plants at the Baldwin Greenhouse and then head back to Greenfield to plant their pot. They help care for them throughout the summer too.

Today Botany Belles and Beaus' members gathered to plant a tree in memory of Marilyn Doornink at Windmill Park. Marilyn was an active member of the club for 55 years. She is missed.

Congratulations to the Village of Hammond on the opening of their new public library! It is spacious, lovely and will serve the community well.

Garden Club members had a busy couple of days planting for the Village of Baldwin. The hanging baskets that were planted in March were transported to town and hung by the village crew. Street pots planted, Blue Star Marker Memorial planted, red & white & blue planted at Windmill Park, and the entrance to the Baldwin Cemetery. Fun to garden together.

A National Garden Club grant funded the red, white, and blue plantings this year.

Thanks to Baldwin's Public Works crew for all they do to support this project and the Village for funding the baskets. I

Initial garden clean up at Windmill Park completed. Now for warmer temperatures so the annuals can be planted.

Club members met for an enjoyable afternoon to make mini-arrangements for Meals on Wheels. One of our favorite activities.

Merry Christmas!

Our next meeting is Thursday, January 15th. A change of time: 5:00. We'll be sampling a variety of soups and there is sure to be enough for all. You are invited to come and check us out.
