It's Fri-YAY! And it's time for another Featured Family Friday! 🎉 This week, please meet Gabriel & Connor! They are an easygoing couple who have grown their family through adoption once before. They are so excited to welcome another child into their family! They both come from big family-orientated homes (and Gabriel’s sister is also starting the adoption journey!)

One of Gabriel & Connor's favorite hobbies is to watch movies 🎬 with friends and family, and every year they even have an Oscars viewing party where they rank all of the nominees! They also have an annual watch party of all of the Lord of the Rings movies! So fun!! Another fun fact is that these two love to visit Ireland! 🍀Gabriel’s family shares a home on the western coast of Ireland where they often go to on vacation. While there, they swim 🏖 in the sea (on the rare chance it isn’t raining), go on long walks, and sit and relax by the fireplace. Gabriel & Connor love to cook! 👨‍🍳 One of their favorite meals is homemade pizza 🍕 and garlic bread, which they make together every Friday. Connor makes the dough for the base while Gabriel preps the toppings & sauce. Yum!!

Gabriel & Connor can’t wait to welcome a sibling for their child, teaching them to cook up a feast in the kitchen, getting going on a family DIY-project and of course, family game night! In general, this family enjoys interacting with people, nature and the world in which they live.

Happy Tuesday! For our Tuesday Family Spotlight, please meet Grace & Ana! These two's modern love 💘story began by meeting on a dating app. Grace grew up in the Philly suburbs but spent time in Ohio and North Carolina before returning to Philly. Ana grew up in Puebla, Mexico and began to live internationally in 2015. They feel lucky to have met when they both relocated to Philly in 2018!

When it comes to hobbies, Grace loves embroidery, Ana loves hiking 🥾 and they both love bouldering! They also love to travel ✈ and Grace's favorite place to visit is Asheville, NC, Ana loves Camden, Maine and they both love Maui, Hawaii! When it comes to their favorite foods, Grace loves chocolate 🍫, mashed potatoes 🥔, and pasta 🍝. Ana loves Pizza 🍕, arabes, and tacos al pastor 🌮. And they both look forward to celebrating Halloween 🎃 and Christmas 🎅 each year!

Ana & Grace are so excited to begin their journey into parenthood through adoption. They plan to raise their child bilingual due to Ana’s heritage and introduce them to Mexican food. Ana & Grace imagine spending family time playing games, laughing, doing arts and crafts 🎨, cooking 👩‍🍳, and spending time in nature 🎋. These two are also members of a climbing gym that has a lot of child-centered activities that they hope to enjoy with their child. Regardless of the interests they want to share with their child, they primarily want to give them a safe space to grow, explore, experience the warmth of familial love, and honor their identity.

Happy Friday & first day of spring! 🌸🌹☀️ And for our Featured Family Friday please meet Jessica, a veterinary nurse 👩‍⚕️ who lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia. She lives in a family oriented area which has a lovely park, a neighborhood pool 🏊 and a wonderful school district 🎓! Jessica is a very kind and compassionate person who is dedicated to her family and friends! She loves baking 🍰 and hopes to share her passion and recipes with her child! She loves to visit her happy place, the beach 🏖, whenever she can. She also loves traveling! Jessica has visited many fun places, such as the Bahamas , Ireland 🍀 and Jamaica but her favorite place to travel is the Dominican Republic! She loves Mexican food, especially tacos 🌮 and her favorite sports teams are the Philadelphia Phillies ⚾ and the Eagles 🏈!

Since Jessica was a young child she knew that she wanted to be a mother. She is a passionate person that will always have a loving and stable home and will always be supported by family. After years of waiting, she knew adoption was the path she was meant to take. Jessica is very excited to be starting a family and is ready to begin this new journey. ❣

Happy Tuesday everyone! This week for our Tuesday Family Spotlight, please meet Greg & Thomas, a couple from Philadelphia who dream of raising a little one! These two both come from big families that include adoptees! They are so excited for their own family to grow through adoption! 😃

Some fun facts about Greg & Thomas are that they love Tacos 🌮, Thai food 🍜, and purple sweet potato cake 🍰 from a Korean recipe book! Some of their favorite hobbies are to play the Accordion 🎶, tennis 🎾, and view art 🎨! The holidays they enjoy celebrating the most are Thanksgiving 🦃 & the Winter Solstice ❄️. Their favorite place that they have traveled is to the Galapagos Islands where they saw giant tortoises 🐢 and seahorses!

Greg & Thomas believe strongly in providing unconditional love ❣ and acceptance as a child grows up. They are excited to share creative projects that teach their child to build, cook, create, and find solutions to puzzles 🧩. They can’t wait to bring their kid hiking 🥾, to the beach 🏖, and just to explore 🔎 nature 🐛. They will create a home that invites a child to play and express themselves fully! They are also excited for their heritage to be an integral part of their lives too.

Happy Friday, everyone! This week for our Featured Family Friday, please meet Jordan and Dan! Since they met over 11 years ago, they knew that they wanted to build their family through adoption!
For these two, chosen family has always held a special meaning – it’s knowing that the people you love and hold dear can be found in many different places, in many different ways. That’s why the path of adoption is so meaningful to them; an opportunity to amplify their unconditional love! 💓
Jordan & Dan also have some super fun hobbies! They love to go to the theater 🎭, relax on the beach ⛱, cross-stitch, watch movies 🍿, cook 🍳and listen to show tunes 🎶 and indie folk music. When it comes to their favorite food they love to eat fried chicken! 🍗 Yum!!
Jordan & Dan can't wait to nurture a child in their loving home filled with color 🎨 & music 🎶, friends & family, silliness & joy. They have made a promise that any child in their home will grow up knowing and owning the many stories and journeys that live within them.

We hope everyone's week is off to a wonderful start! And, for this weeks Tuesday Family Spotlight, please meet Casey & Howard! These two met at work and have been BFFs for over 14 years and married for over 9 years.

Casey is from Montreal and is a writer and creative director at a climate change nonprofit. Howard is from Philadelphia. He’s a creative director at one of the best ad agencies in the world! Casey & Howard live in Brooklyn, in a diverse neighborhood that’s close to parks, playgrounds, museums and great schools. Casey & Howard both love to read 📖, go on runs 🏃‍♀️, draw ✏️and watch & perform comedy 🎭! They are so excited to raise a child in NY but they love sports and are always rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles, 🦅 Philadelphia Phillies ⚾ & the Philadelphia 76ers 🏀! Their families are just a short drive away and are super supportive of their adoption plan!

Casey & Hoard have spent a lot of time thinking about the kind of parents they want to be: open, caring, creative, empowering, and most importantly, there through it all with unconditional love. 😍 These two can’t wait to share their love with a child!
