On June 1, the Township Planning Commission will take up the Township plan to amend the zoning ordinance that controls uses on Bala Avenue. This amendment could have the impact of permitting non-commercial use on Bala Ave. It will also allow developers to build residential units that do not have ground floor commercial space.

Your input is important. Please attend this meeting. It will take place June 1, 7:00 Township Administration Building – 2nd Floor Board Room, located at 75 East Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore, PA. You can access the Commission’s Agenda below. The document being presented on June 1 should be linked by May 29, 2026 Close of Business.

We share our condolences with Roberta Fallon's family and friends, and all those she positively impacted in Bala Cynwyd and beyond. Her legacy in the art world and the communities she supported live on.

"Her husband said: “Everybody likes her. Everybody wants to be around her. She made a difference for a lot of people.” Her daughter Stella said: “The world would be a better place if we all tried to be like my mom.”"

She and fellow artist Libby Rosof handed out miniatures of their artwork to passersby in Center City for years, and she said in 2005: "We think art needs to be for everyone, not just in galleries.”
