💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Bakersfield Recovery Services is honored to stand alongside our community in raising awareness, supporting survivors, and promoting pathways to safety and healing.

The Kern County Board of Supervisors recently presented a proclamation recognizing Domestic Violence Awareness Month to the Kern County District Attorney. As a proud community partner of the Family Justice Center, Bakersfield Recovery Services is grateful to collaborate with local organizations and agencies working to connect individuals and families with vital resources and support.

Together, we can strengthen our community and remind survivors that support is available and they are not alone. 💜
