Hendricks County employers, meet Luke, recent graduate of Avon High School!

Luke is currently interning with the Avon Chamber of Commerce , where he’s helping manage social media, support events, and connect with local business leaders.

From creating content to attending networking events, Luke is gaining real-world experience and building relationships with professionals across the community. In just one semester, he’s already developed valuable skills and connections that will last well beyond high school.

Luke says if he could do it again, he would have started Work-Based Learning even earlier, and encourages other students to take advantage of the opportunities right here in Avon.

21 years…....... wow, time flies when you’re having fun!

The Hendricks County Rib-Fest & BBQ has been bringing our community together for over two decades, and we are so proud to continue this tradition. From amazing BBQ and live music to family fun and fireworks, this event has created so many great memories over the years.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this event throughout the past 21 years, From our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, entertainers, community partners, and all of YOU who come out each year to celebrate with us. THANK YOU!!

We can’t wait to do it all again on June 27th at the Hendricks County 4-H Fair & Conference Complex!

We are just ONE MONTH away from the 21st Annual Hendricks County Rib-Fest & BBQ!

The countdown is on for one of Hendricks County’s favorite summer traditions! Join us for a full day of delicious BBQ, live music, family fun, the Rib Run, Craft Fair, Business Expo, Kidz Zone, Hot Air Balloons and so much more.....all leading up to an incredible fireworks finale!

We can’t wait to celebrate 21 years of great food, community, and fun with all of you on June 27th at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds & Conference Complex.

Today’s Chamber luncheon was both important and fun! A huge shout out to our sponsor, Washington Township Parks and Recreation Department for bringing the energy with all the colorful decorations and sharing all the exciting activities and events. They have planned for the summer season.

We would like to thank April Bordeau from Care to Change Counseling Center for speaking about Mental Health in the workplace. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, it was an important conversation and a great reminder that supporting mental wellness of our employees, coworkers, and ourselves matters in every workplace and throughout our community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today! Thank you to Chick-fil-A HWY 36 & Beechwood Drive, Avon, IN for Catering and to the Avon American Legion, Indiana Post 145 for hosting. Be sure to join us for our next Chamber luncheon on Tuesday, June 23rd, where the Town of Avon will be our featured speaker.

The Business Brief - Series 6

We recently had the opportunity to Spotlight Village Place, the new townhome community near Costco in Avon. We loved the opportunity to showcase this exciting addition to our community and give everyone a closer look through our latest business brief video. Avon continues to grow and it’s exciting to see new housing opportunities becoming available in our area.
