I'm going to be ending HFASI's nonprofit status in the coming months, and need to donate dome supplies to other charitable organizations. Right now I have a large tote full of kid's activities; Any suggestions on a group in need? Thanks for all of your support over the years!!

A CALL FOR ACTION to the FASD COMMUNITY!
The FASD Center for Excellence has been defunded and is scheduled to close April 16, 2016. SAMSHA has not asked for it to be included in the 2017 budget.
The FASD Center for Excellence is the ONLY federally funded organization that includes in its mission to “improve the quality of life for individuals and families affected by these disorders.”
All other agencies focus on prevention and research.
In light of the CDC’s recently released statistics about the prevalence of FASD being as high as 2-5% of all births in the U.S.., it is UNACCEPTABLE that the federal government cut funding to this organization, and UNACCEPTABLE that SAMSHA not fight for it to remain open.

Hi everyone! Just a quick reminder that PNO is Saturday night 7/18 at the Flip Zone from 6-10 p.m. It will be $5 per each four kids for dinner. **NOTE: if your child has recently identified dietary restrictions, please pack dinner for them. We can refrigerate anything until dinnertime. Also let me know in advance if there is anything they cannot have so we can plan snacks/treats accordingly.
