Local 4406, let’s help our brothers and sisters at Local 416 reach their goal of 343 or more marchers this September 11th. Let’s remember every life lost, honor the 343 fallen FDNY firefighters, and recognize the Indiana Task Force One members who deployed to Ground Zero. The march begins at approximately 11AM at Local 416, 748 Massachusetts Avenue, and travels 1.7 miles to the memorial beside IFD Station 13. Wear your Class A uniform with cap or the highest level of uniform available.

Twenty-five years later, we remember those we lost and honor those who answered the call.
On September 11, 2001, firefighters, police officers, EMS professionals, and rescue teams responded from across the country. Among them were members of Indiana Task Force One (IN-TF1), who deployed to New York City and the World Trade Center to join the search-and-rescue effort at Ground Zero.
This September 11th, Indianapolis Firefighters Local 416 invites the fire service community to march in their honor.
We will recognize the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice, remember every life lost, and honor IN-TF1 members who represented Indianapolis and Indiana at the World Trade Center.
Our goal is to have 343 or more participants march approximately 1.7 miles from Local 416 to the memorial beside IFD Station 13 at the Canal.
We want our IN-TF1 members to see hundreds of their brothers and sisters walking behind them.

Bells will be toned at the times of the plane strikes. Mass follows the final tone at 10:03 AM.
