The scouts went on an exciting eight-day adventure trip, spending much of their time kayaking along the river. They had a lot of fun exploring the river, enjoying the adventure, and making great memories together.

With a large senior class entering their final year of scouting we are in “EAGLE SEASON”.

This is a shed project with about 175 team hours logged to date. Needs one more day to finish up.

Troop 274 – Day 11: A Well-Deserved Finish!

After an unforgettable adventure in the Grand Canyon, Troop 274 hit the road for one last day of exploring the Southwest. We traveled historic Route 66, making stops at two iconic roadside favorites—Delgadillo’s Snow Cap Drive-In in Seligman and Mr. D’z Route 66 Diner in Kingman—for some great food and a taste of classic Americana.

After our Route 66 adventure, we toured the incredible Hoover Dam, taking in one of the nation’s greatest engineering marvels before continuing on to Las Vegas.

We checked into the Excalibur Resort for our final night together and capped off the trip with an unforgettable Tournament of Kings dinner show.

What an amazing 11-day high adventure! From hiking through Zion, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon backcountry to camping under the stars, rafting, exploring Route 66, touring Hoover Dam, and making lifelong memories, this trip has been one our Scouts will never forget.

Tomorrow we head home with tired legs, stronger friendships, unforgettable experiences, and stories we’ll be sharing for years to come. Thank you to everyone who followed along and supported Troop 274 on this incredible journey!
