Where are they now - Pax (formerly known as Sydney)

Here are a few pictures of our sweet blue heeler, Pax: a couple from when he was a puppy and a few from his life now.

He's doing so well—he's actually become a Pet Partner's certified therapy dog and goes to "work" with my husband Brent at Aspen High School most days. He loves being around the students every day. While at work, he loves to snuggle with teens who need a break from learning/studying in a black lounger chair in Brent's classroom. Otherwise he's right at Brent's heel walking the halls and greeting students. He is also the beloved "brother" of our 9 year old son, Kepa, and sleeps with him every night. He's also a great trail dog who loves going on hikes and mountain bike runs.

We're so grateful he's part of our family!

Lil Bit, aka Romeo, is a super sweet little guy looking for his forever home. At first he might be a little shy, but when he knows he's safe he comes around quickly and loves giving hugs. He's starting to work on sit and other obedience in his foster home and he's eager to learn when treats are involved! He's very good motivated. He's crate trained, potty trained, up to date on shots, fixed and microchipped. He is good with other dogs with proper introduction. Lil Bit arrives on 9/5 from Roswell, NM. Hello! This happy boy is Spot from Roswell, NM and he is settling in well. He likes other dogs, he loves toys (and he’s not a destroyer), he walks well, he’s very curious. He is a big, silly, goofy, lumbering puppy. He is still working on potty training and he does like to jump up on the counters and try to steal shoes and socks. He’s high energy in the sense that his energy is long lasting, but not super-super intense. You can see more pictures of Spot on the rescue’s instagram page .
