NEWS RELEASE: DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER PURSUIT THAT ENDED IN MANCHESTER
MANCHESTER, N.H. – A Hampton man was arrested after being apprehended by a State Police K-9 following a multi-town pursuit that ended in Manchester.
At 11:50 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, State Troopers assigned to the Troop A barracks were alerted that Maine State Police Troopers were in pursuit of a 2013 Nissan Altima on Interstate 95 southbound, approaching the New Hampshire state border. Shortly after, Trooper Daniel Bourque located the vehicle on I-95 in Hampton, no longer pursued by MSP. Trooper Bourque observed the vehicle traveling recklessly, over 100 mph, and attempted to perform a traffic stop. When the driver refused to pull over, a pursuit ensued.
During the pursuit, the driver of the Nissan continued to speed excessively and failed to stay in one lane. He exited I-95 onto Route 101 westbound and the pursuit continued through several towns. Additional Troopers, along with members of the Candia Police Department, successfully deployed tire deflation devices as the pursuit continued into Candia. Despite having deflated tires, the driver continued onto I-93 southbound, and eventually onto I-293 northbound in Manchester. Shortly after, the driver struck a guardrail, stopped, then ran from the car. Trooper Joshua Farmer deployed his partner, K-9 Soka, who successfully apprehended the driver.
The driver was identified as Andrew Mcinnes, 42, of Hampton. Mcinnes was arrested and brought to an area hospital for evaluation of possible injuries. He was charged with two counts of felony reckless conduct – deadly weapon, along with several misdemeanor charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated (DWI), DWI, disobeying an officer, conduct after an accident, willful interference with police dogs, resisting arrest, and violation level offenses of driving after suspension, reckless driving, and disorderly conduct. Mcinnes refused bail and was transported to the Rockingham County Jail, where he was held pending an appearance in Brentwood District Court scheduled for Monday, Oct. 26, 2026.

Kissimmee PD Bloodhound Team Helps Locate Missing Man Who Wandered From Home. Ofc. Andrew Cason and K9 Belle, a scent discriminate Bloodhound, responded to help locate a missing 66-year-old with dementia who wandered on foot from his home in an unknown direction 2 hours prior to their arrival. K9 Belle trailed the man’s scent for 1.35 miles along busy streets to help place search patrols in the right area. The man was located just ahead of their trail by patrol officers and returned home safely.
K9 Belle was donated to Kissimmee Police Dept. by Senior Resource Alliance in Orlando with funding from the Kevin and Avonte grant to increase available search resources in the area for missing persons and those with Alzheimer’s Disease and autism who are at high risk of wandering.

PD Arlo was quickly on scene following a police pursuit this week involving HGC Uned Plismona'r Ffyrdd / NWP Roads Policing Unit, after a suspect decamped from their vehicle and made a run for it.
With his nose to the ground, Arlo picked up the scent from the vehicle and tracked straight into a back garden, flushing the suspect out of their hiding place. And that’s when the chase was on! 🏃‍♂️🐕
There was only ever going to be one winner! 💨 Arlo and his handler quickly closed the gap, catching up with the suspect, who was swiftly detained.
Another great bit of work from Arlo, showing exactly why our four-legged colleagues are such a valuable part of the team.

🚨 POLICE K-9, SUSPECT ACCUSED OF TRYING TO STRANGLE DURING ARREST.
A 34-year-old man allegedly grabbed a police K-9’s collar and pulled it tight during a confrontation with St. George (Utah) Police Department officers Thursday night. Police were investigating allegations that he exposed himself in front of a neighbor’s doorbell camera. The neighbor told investigators the incident left them feeling unsafe staying at home with their young child. Officers located the suspect, confirmed three active arrest warrants and entered his apartment after repeated commands went unanswered, according to the arrest affidavit. Police say he shoved the K-9 before attempting to strangle it. An officer used a Taser, but the suspect allegedly continued resisting. The K-9 was then deployed to bite his leg before officers took him into custody. After medical clearance, he was booked on suspicion of felony endangering a police service canine, misdemeanor lewdness and interfering with a peace officer, along with his outstanding warrants. The information provided did not specify the K-9’s condition.
