Heard about South Carolina’s new Fargo’s Law concerning law enforcement K9s? 🐕
Under the new law:
🐾 Taunting, teasing, striking, or interfering with a police K9 is now a misdemeanor.
🐾 Injuring or killing a police K9 is now a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
🐾 Offenders can also be required to pay restitution for veterinary care, training, and replacement costs.
Our K9s are not just animals, they are our loyal partners who help keep deputies and communities safe every single day.
