🌳 We foster community, self-sufficiency and increase quality of life for Denver-area Refugees.

Started as a makeshift response to the unmet needs of our refugee neighbors in 2010, we have grown to offer a variety of programs and services including English language classes, citizenship classes, a community-run food access program, a refugee training farm, a five-chair dental clinic, and access to Community Navigators and Family Partners. Something new is coming to the Worthmore Clinic. ❤️

We’re excited to share that our new medical clinic is currently in development at The Roots and is planned to open by the end of this year!

This expansion will create more opportunities for our community to access the care they need, close to home.

More to come as we get closer to opening!

We’re so excited that the Worthmore Clinic has expanded our services to include orthodontics! 🦷

We’re so excited to offer this new service to our community. Families can now receive even more comprehensive care in one trusted place, with fewer referrals and fewer barriers to getting the care they need close to home.

We can’t wait to share more soon!

That’s a wrap on another CSA season at DeLaney Community Farm. 🌱

This year, more than 40 CSA members joined us for 18 weeks of fresh produce, eggs, and fruit. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make the season possible, including our restaurant partners Boychik, Annette, and Joy Hill, Yoder Family Farms for the eggs, and the variety of local Colorado farms that supplied our fruit.

And of course, thank you to our farmers, volunteers, staff, and CSA members for being part of another great season at DeLaney.

Here’s a little look back at 2026. 💛

Happy World Food Day! 🌎

Our Yu Meh Food Share program helps provide fresh food to newcomer families in our community each week.

This work is made possible through partnerships with We Don’t Waste, Food Bank of the Rockies, Denver Food Rescue, and Metro Caring, who help us get good food to the people who need it most.

We’re grateful for the many people and organizations who make Food Share possible and help us build community through food.

A new way to make an impact at The Roots 📚

The Roots Family Language Library (TRFLL) is a new program at Project Worthmore, created to make books and language resources more accessible to our community. Located at The Roots, the library offers books in a variety of languages creating a welcoming space for newcomers and neighbors to read, learn, and connect.

As we get this new program up and running, there are two ways you can help:
1. Volunteer at the Language Library
This is the most important way to help right now. We need volunteers to help staff the library so we can keep the doors open and make this resource available to our community.

2. Donate books
Help us grow the library by donating books in languages spoken throughout our community. Visit our website to see our current book needs and learn how to donate.

Whether you have a few hours to give or a few books to share, there is a new way to get involved at The Roots. Interested in volunteering or donating books? Learn more through the link below.
