Youth Empowering Social Action Y.E.S.A. (Youth Empowering Social Action) is an Aurora CO. Based Youth Group comprised of High School Students from Aurora West, Central, and Hinkley.

YESA - is a youth council of students representing Hinkley, Central and Aurora West Preparatory; collectively they represent the youth voice to local and state level policy makers, schools, and businesses in Aurora. YESA seeks to establish a visible network of youth leaders in order to accomplish the following outcomes:

1. Increased college and career readiness
2. Talk about community problems an

d social issues
3. Create and implement community change from the bottom up through organizing and advocating for human rights
4. Career exploration and community service
5. Increase Internships, Job training and employment opportunities for youth in Aurora
6. Learn about Colorado scholarships
