Peter and Laston just completed construction of the water tower and secured the pump. The only thing left? The water tank. And when it arrives, this entire system comes to life.

We are so grateful for teammates like April and her husband — people who say yes, show up, and carry the work home in their hearts long after the trip ends.

April put it simply: "The people I met, the relationships we built, and the faith that I witnessed left a lasting impact on my heart. I came home with a deeper sense of purpose and a greater understanding of what it means to serve and love others well. I’m incredibly grateful for the prayers and support that made this journey possible, and a large part of me is longing to return as soon as possible.”

When 28Bold drilled a well at John Mdluli School, Stanley didn't just maintain it. He multiplied it.

That one well now saves the school hundreds of dollars every month — money that used to go toward purchasing water. Stanley redirected every dollar back into the school. More teachers were hired. Smaller classrooms. A working garden. A feeding program that serves over 1,000 students every day.

Stanley is what faithful stewardship looks like in real life.

Lauren is a nurse back home. But in this classroom at John Mdluli school, she was just someone who showed up and said yes to whatever was needed.

She said “Being a part of a mission trip that provided clean water was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life, but I left realizing I received far more than I gave. I will never forget the joy and happiness that radiated from the people in Africa!”
