We had a wonderful time opening the 16th AUGUSTA PRIDE Festival today! With all the downtown construction, the parade did not take place. That gave us a chance to play a full set of music along with multiple equipment changes from the Color Guard. We always look forward to a bringing Pride and Joy to Georgia’s Garden City!

We needed a little recovery before posting again, but we want to thank the thousands of attendees for helping us move to the Augusta Exchange Fairgrounds this year. Whether this was your first or sixteenth Augusta Pride, we're doing it for you to feel seen and heard and have access to numerous available resources and LGBTQ+ friendly businesses in the area. We also thank the many vendors, sponsors, volunteers, the Fairgrounds staff, performers, Tracer Audio and All Star Tent crews, Wellstar MCG Health first aide tent, and Richmond County Sheriff's Department and city Fire Marshals for keeping us safe and secure this year! We hope to see you for the 17th Augusta Pride Festival next year and back with the parade!

We've got lots of food vendor choices this year, along with free HIV testing options, many LGBT friendly businesses, and other informational opportunities tonight and tomorrow. Can't wait to see you tonight at Beats Off of Broad and tomorrow at the free Saturday festival, both at the Augusta Exchange Fairgrounds!

While we were unable to have the parade due to road construction issues, we're excited to bring back the Atlanta Freedom Marching Band to the stage to kick off our Saturday Festival a little before 1030 am. We've got to keep our traditions going when we can. Happy Pride and see you this weekend!
