This week we had the pleasure of getting to tour one of our community partners facilities and we were thrilled to see them proudly display who they are and what they stand for! Interstate Batteries provided lunch for our most recent fundraiser & we are grateful to get to serve for the purpose of God’s glory in our community together.

Last night we had surprise guests prepare a delicious Indian meal for us out of the overflow of their grateful hearts to Jesus for all He has provided for them as they have traveled in faith to the states to complete their education at UNT.

Despite setbacks & times of discouragement they testified of the Lord’s faithfulness to them as they trust Him to provide & we are so thankful for their hearts to turn around and bless others in response!

Our hearts have been encouraged recently by getting to witness former DFH Alumni use their time & talent to serve others & help them draw nearer to Christ!

Eli & Joey have focused their love for watches to repair & gift to new residents in the home as well as the homeless. They have prayed over & prepared over 200 watches to give at street outreach this weekend, Feed ‘Em Freedom!

Alumn & now staff member Joey has also celebrated his first publication, 100 Days of Hope in the Valley, poems & devotionals based in scripture to help people find refuge in Christ amidst their sorrow! (Available on amazon)

We rejoice & thank God for allowing us to see any fruit from the labor of getting to serve & love the men and women at DFH. Thank you Jesus for the future & hope we have in You!

A huge thank you to the small group from The Village Church for coming out & blessing the men at Denton Freedom House with a delicious home-cooked meal last night.
Your generosity, servant hearts, and willingness to invest your time into our residents mean more than words can express.

Moments like these remind us that lives are changed through community, encouragement, and people who are willing to show the love of Christ in practical ways.
Thank you for serving, loving, & making our men feel seen & valued.
