Camp WAVES

Camp WAVES Camp WAVES is a two-day surf camp curriculum for students on the Autism Spectrum and their families.

Camp WAVES incorporates a set of social skills that were developed for campers to use at surf camp and at school. We are a part of Autism Adventures; a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization. Camp is provided at no cost to the families of students with Autism. We have served students in the following school districts with our SURF Skills program in Texas: Aubrey ISD, Sanger ISD and Argyle ISD; as well as schools in Buffalo, New York.

🌟 Calling Local Businesses! 🌟

We’re reaching out to see if any generous company would be willing to donate their time and resources by providing a bounce house for our Autism Adventures event on October 6th. Additionally, we would love to have face painting or balloon art to enhance the fun! Your support would make a huge difference and bring joy to our community.

We are trying something new this year, and will be hosting Santa’s Secret Workshop at the Aubrey Area Library at the beginning of December. To make this event possible, we are looking for new of gently used items suitable for for mom, dad, grandparents, siblings, pets, friends, etc.! So if you are decluttering or have things you to go to an amazing non profit, let us know. We are happy to pick up or you can drop off! Feel free to message us with any questions you might have!
