❤️ A New Chapter Begins at Monaco Elementary! ❤️📚

What an exciting day for our Aubrey Chaparrals!

The Aubrey Education Foundation was thrilled to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new Book Vending Machine at Monaco Elementary, made possible through the generous support of Atmos Energy! 🎉

This special addition gives students another exciting reason to celebrate reading! Students can earn the opportunity to select a book of their very own, helping inspire a lifelong love of reading, one book at a time. 📖✨

We loved seeing the excitement on the students’ faces as we unveiled the machine and celebrated this wonderful addition to their campus!

A huge THANK YOU to Atmos Energy for investing in our students and helping us continue our mission to Grow, Support, and Inspire!

We are also grateful to the Monaco Elementary staff, Aubrey ISD leadership, and everyone who joined us to celebrate this special occasion.

💙❤️ Here’s to putting more books into the hands of our Chaparrals!

A new vending machine was unveiled at Monaco Elementary School, but it doesn’t sell snacks or drinks; instead, it is filled with books.

The Aubrey Education Foundation partnered with Atmos Energy on the book vending machine to help promote literacy in school.

“We just want to thank Atmos for your contributions in providing the machine, and at this point, a lot of the books,” Aubrey Education Foundation Vice President Don Richmond said. “For the Education Foundation, literacy is one of our big programs, and so this is … how we're trying to promote that through all of our schools.”

Wednesday, we had the pleasure of providing lunch for our new teachers during Aubrey ISD’s New Teacher Academy! 🍎❤️

It was wonderful to see so many excited faces as they prepare to begin a new school year — and extra special to see some of our former AEF scholarship recipients coming back home to Aubrey to teach! What a full-circle moment! 🎓➡️🍎

A big thank you to Trinity River Catering for helping us provide the delicious lunch for our new teachers! We are so grateful for community partners who continue to support Aubrey ISD and our educators. ❤️

Welcome to Aubrey ISD! We’re so excited to have you as part of our Chaparral family and can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make on our students! ❤️💙
