An update on the activities of Eternal Sobriety.

New things are coming. There are three new books that have been in the works for some time. The first of the three is "The Spiritual DNA of Alcoholics Anonymous". It will be released in the next 10 days. You will see a post here in this Facebook group to notify you of its release and availability. Be sure and share to your friends who have a similar interest. I appreciate all of you who follow this group and my website www.eternalsobriety.org

Eternal Sobriety is a ministry and educational resource dedicated to personal transformation through truth. Through books, articles, videos, and other resources, it explores recovery, emotional health, spiritual growth, Christian living, and the principles that lead to lasting freedom and change.

While the topics vary, the goal remains the same: helping individuals understand truth, renew the mind, develop healthy principles, and grow toward the life God intends.

The second article on Emotional Sobriety is now available. The previous article (Part 1) identifies the failure in Secular AA to achieve what Bill Wilson described as "The Next Frontier: Emotional Sobriety". This article (Part 2) now defines why and how it is actually achieved if you have the key. Here is the link.

Can the missing ingredient of Christian sanctification be why the idea of emotional sobriety never caught on in Alcoholics Anonymous. Could it be that the dilution of the spiritual approach as practiced by the founders has prevented emotional sobriety from being the spearhead of the next frontier? Could it be that belief in a higher power that has no power be the problem? Could it be that the life-changing Biblical God the founders embraced is no longer endorsed by the majority of folks in AA? Could it be that emotional security cannot happen when our full dependency is not upon Jesus Christ? Here is the first of two articles that take an honest and deep look at the idea of emotional sobriety. Send suggestive comments to [email protected]
