A New Chapter Begins at Untamed Mountain
For more than two decades, Tigers For Tomorrow Wild Animal Preserve has been a place dedicated to exceptional animal care, environmental education, and creating a deeper connection between people and the natural world.
Today, we begin an exciting new chapter.
We are proud to announce that Seacrest Wolves is merging with Tigers For Tomorrow, bringing together two organizations with a shared commitment to animals, education, and conservation.
As part of this merger, the Seacrest wolves will make Untamed Mountain their permanent home. Just as importantly, the dedicated keepers and volunteers who have been part of the Seacrest family will become part of ours. We are not simply welcoming wolves—we are welcoming an entire family, their knowledge, their experience, and their passion.
A New Name for a Growing Mission
With this new chapter comes another important announcement.
Tigers For Tomorrow Wild Animal Preserve will become
UNTAMED MOUNTAIN WILD ANIMAL PRESERVE.
Tigers will always be an important part of who we are and where we began. But today, our mission reaches far beyond the wild and great cats.
Untamed Mountain is home to an extraordinary and increasingly diverse family of animals. The addition of the Seacrest wolves is another step in that evolution, and we believe our name should reflect the organization we have become—and the organization we are building for the future.
Our commitment to providing a safe home and exceptional lifetime care for the animals entrusted to us remains at the heart of everything we do.
But our mission is also growing.
Looking toward a sustainable future, Untamed Mountain Wild Animal Preserve will explore opportunities to participate in responsible conservation breeding programs for select species where our facilities, expertise, partnerships, and resources can meaningfully contribute to the long-term survival and genetic health of those species.
This represents an important evolution for our organization: from providing exceptional lifetime care to also asking how we can play a greater role in protecting wildlife for generations yet to come.
Our Commitment Has Not Changed
Please do not misunderstand this change or the growth of our mission.
Untamed Mountain will still be—and always will be—a home for animals in need. That commitment is not changing.
We will continue to open our doors to animals who need a permanent home, including animals that may not be candidates for placement or exhibition at accredited zoological facilities because of their age, medical needs, behavioral challenges, psychological well-being, or other special circumstances.
There will always be animals who need a home.Some may require lifelong medical care. Some may simply need a quieter environment.
Those animals will continue to have a place at Untamed Mountain.
Expanding our work into conservation and carefully managed breeding programs for select species does not replace the work we have done for more than two decades—it adds another dimension to it.
We can provide a permanent home for an animal that needs us while also working to ensure that threatened and endangered species have a future. We believe those responsibilities can—and should—exist side by side.
Our name is changing because our mission has grown—not because we have forgotten where we came from.
Two Families. One Mountain. One Future.
This merger is about more than a new name or new animals.
It is about bringing together people who believe in the same thing—that wildlife matters, that education matters, and that the choices we make today can help determine what survives tomorrow.
To everyone who has supported Tigers For Tomorrow through the years: you are still part of this journey part of our family on this journey.Everything we have built together becomes the foundation for what comes next.
